Karten und Wegbeschreibungen
From Firenze Santa Maria Novella Railway Station (Florence's Main Station) by train:
Take a regional train towards Arezzo, Chiusi or Borgo San Lorenzo, and get off at Firenze Rovezzano - it's two stops from the main station and usually takes around 10 minutes. IMPORTANT: Make sure you check on the display on the platform at Santa Maria Novella that the train stops at Firenze Rovezzano as many trains do not stop there!
Then, exit the station using the South exit, turn left and follow the road as it curves right until you get to a set of traffic lights with a post office on the corner. Cross the road at the traffic lights and continue walking along Via Della Ripa, past the bus stop (which becomes Via Vittorio Emanuele Orlando) for about 300m until you get to a main road with a set of traffic lights. Cross the road here, turn left and continue for about 500m until you see our entrance on the right hand side! The walk should take just over 10 minutes.
From Firenze Santa Maria Novella Railway Station (Florence's Main Station) by bus:
Exit the station on the left hand side and immediately turn left where you will find the bus stop called "Stazione Valfonda". Take the bus number 14 (direction Via Ripa or Il Girone) and get off at Via Ripa. This journey should take around 30 minutes. When you get off the bus, turn right and keep walking along Via Della Ripa (which becomes Via Vittorio Emanuele Orlando) for about 300m until you get to a main road with a set of traffic lights. Cross the road here, turn left and continue for about 500m until you see our entrance on the right hand side! The walk from the bus stop should take around 10 minutes. A single bus ticket costs € 1.20 and you can get them from various outlets at the station and in the city, including at the "Tabaccheria". Don't forget to validate your ticket by stamping it in the machines as you get on the bus!
From Florence Airport:
Take the Shuttle bus from outside the airport to the city centre - a ticket costs € 6 and can be bought from the driver. The bus takes around 20-30 minutes and will drop you off at Santa Maria Novella train station. From there, follow the directions above.
From Pisa Airport:
There are bus companies operating between the airport and Florence city centre (usually Santa Maria Novella train station), and tickets typically cost between € 5 - € 10. Tickets can be bought in the arrivals hall and many airlines even sell tickets on board before you land.
Alternatively, you can take the shuttle bus to Pisa railway station (€ 1.30, tickets available in arrival hall at the information office) and from there take a train to Santa Maria Novella station in Florence. A single ticket for the train costs € 8.40.
When you arrive in Florence, follow the directions above.
By road from A1 motorway:
Exit the motorway at "Firenze Sud" and continue along the link road (Via Marco Polo) for about 4km until you reach the end of this road. Here, turn right and continue along Via Generale dalla Chiesa - after 900m you will find us on the right hand side!
